Many of our native wild herbs are wrongly referred to as “un-herbs” these days. They contain so many good
and valuable nutrients that we should definitely use!
Often, one just needs to be shown and explained what can be done with what. And that’s exactly what this
herb experience is all about. It’s time to give native wild herbs a permanent place in our lives again! This
is achieved in the herb experience “Wild Herb Cuisine” in probably the most enjoyable way. In addition, we implement the motto “Regional
instead of from everywhere” in a delicious and sustainable manner.
So let’s set out and discover the fragrant and delicious alpine and mountain herbs against the wonderful panorama
of Hochkönig and the Mandlwände surrounding the Berghotel Arthurhaus during our joint herb hike!
We immerse ourselves in the wonderful world of wild herbs and medicinal plants. We learn a lot of exciting and
interesting facts and collect a colorful selection of these herbal treasures for the subsequent herb workshop.
From the collected alpine and mountain herbs, we jointly prepare a small
fine herb menu in organic quality for our culinary herb lunch break.

“Forest bathing – the power of the forest!”
See, smell, feel, listen …. There’s so much to observe and discover in the forest!
We immerse ourselves in the soothing and strengthening “power of the forest” and reflect on the treasures that
nature has to offer. With each conscious deep breath, we enter an increasingly relaxed state and leave
the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind.
Even before breakfast, we start into the nearby forest against the beautiful panorama of the Mandlwände. During the joint “forest bathing” at 1500m, we revive our connection
to nature and experience what “The Power of the Forest” means for us humans and can achieve.

The conscious immersion through various exercises that address our senses and the resulting particularly
intense stay in the forest is referred to as “forest bathing”.
Our immune system, blood pressure, stress hormones, nervous system, and heartbeat benefit from a conscious stay
in the forest! There are more and more worldwide studies confirming these positive effects of forest bathing on humans
. Experts even refer to this as “forest medicine”. And the best part is, this type of natural “medicine” is available
without a prescription!
A beautiful conclusion to our forest bathing is the joint tea ceremony in the midst of nature, where we
let the forest experience linger once more!
Afterwards, relaxed and well-strengthened by the power of the forest, we make our way back to the Berghotel
Arthurhaus and enjoy the rich breakfast buffet.

Yoga in nature
Namasté – Yoga calms the mind and strengthens and relaxes the body. This is particularly inspiring in nature, in the open air and close to the earth. Feel the power of this special place and recharge your batteries!
Yoga has been proven to have a variety of health-promoting effects. Various breathing and physical exercises make fascia and joints more supple, strengthen the muscles and can alleviate discomfort. As meditation in motion, however, the main aim is to calm the mind and soul. This grounding works particularly harmoniously in the great outdoors. The platform on our power place in the hotel garden between the trees offers a unique setting for such sustainable relaxation!
If you have already practiced yoga, then you know how wonderfully beneficial the morning yoga practice in nature is and if it is your first time, then let yourself be enchanted by the unforgettable atmosphere of the extraordinary yoga practice and just give it a try!
